About the Artist
刘嘉颖（CryptoZR），加密艺术家、创业者。曾任腾讯 Global SNS 产品设计师，中央美术学院实验艺术硕士，香港中文大学 EMBA 在读。2017 年起以区块链底层技术创作观念艺术，2019 年将 Crypto Art 译为「加密艺术」引入中国。
Liu Jiaying (CryptoZR) is a crypto artist and entrepreneur. A former Tencent product designer with an MFA from CAFA, currently an EMBA candidate at CUHK, she has made conceptual art from blockchain's underlying technologies since 2017, and in 2019 introduced "Crypto Art" to China as 加密艺术.

Five Threads of Practice
2017 年至今约 30 件作品，沿五条脉络展开：货币、所有权、协议、虚拟空间，以及碳基与硅基的边界。本次展出 15 件，含 2 件新作装置。
Some thirty works since 2017 along five threads — money, ownership, protocols, virtual space, and the boundary between carbon and silicon. Fifteen are on view, including two new installations.
The Exhibition
「共识」是区块链的底层：没有中心的权威，价值由参与者共同确认。展览以此为题，回看艺术家九年来用协议、账本与代码创作的作品。
Consensus is the bedrock of blockchain: value confirmed by participants rather than an authority. The exhibition takes it as a lens on nine years of works made with protocols, ledgers and code.

Curator
独立策展人、艺术批评家，广州美术学院客座教授。1964 年生于上海，复旦大学历史系毕业。曾任上海多伦现代美术馆艺术总策划、副馆长，北京白盒子艺术馆艺术总监，创办中国内地首本中英双语当代艺术刊物《视觉生产》；任 2004 中国当代艺术奖（CCAA）艺术总监，以总策展人身份获 2018 乌兰巴托国际艺术节最佳策展人奖。
Independent curator and critic; visiting professor at the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. Born in Shanghai in 1964 and a graduate of Fudan University's history department, he was chief curator and deputy director of the Shanghai Duolun Museum of Modern Art and artistic director of Beijing's White Box Art Center, and founded Visual Production, mainland China's first bilingual contemporary art journal. Artistic director of the 2004 Chinese Contemporary Art Award (CCAA); best curator of the 2018 Ulaanbaatar International Art Festival.
